Smith Mountain Lake
tree service.
David’s Tree Service is a Smith Mountain Lake tree service for Moneta and Huddleston, on the Bedford County side of the lake. Tree removal, trimming and pruning, stump grinding and 24/7 storm cleanup from a family business in Lynch Station since 1993. Free estimates, and the same crew that quotes your job does the work.
Lakefront trees
come with rules.
Appalachian Power operates Smith Mountain Lake. Inside the lake’s project boundary, the 800-foot contour, it requires a permit before trees or brush are cut, and the property owner has to sign the application.
If a dead or leaning tree inside that boundary is threatening life or property, Appalachian Power says to contact them right away, and they will work with you before a permit is issued. Check the current rules with Appalachian Power’s Shoreline Management office before any work near the water.
For everything else on your lot, it starts the same way as anywhere we go: David comes out, looks at the tree and gives you a straight price.
