I needed a tree service company to cut 3 large oak trees that were leaning toward my house.  I searched online and saw a list of tree services.  One stood out with 6 positive reviews -- David's Tree Services.  I called and David came out and gave me an estimate.  He backed it up with a written proposal.  I accepted and he was at work the next day.  He did an outstanding job of cutting down the 3 large oak trees, grinding their stumps plus grinding 2 other old stumps, cutting the branches off of a neighbors tree that hung over my yard, took off the branches of a large neighbor's tree that leaned toward my house, cut off an underground root of a tree that was pushing my concrete drive up, and trimmed away branches from my overhead power line that could cause trouble in the future.  He had all of the equipment including stump grinding.  When he finished,  not a leaf was left in the yard.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DAVID'S TREE SERVICES.

I cannot say enough good things about David's tree service.
He has basically saved my house.
We had a 58-ft tree 3 ft from the house that was beginning to die.  He was able to get that tree cleared.
We had a tree that was beginning to reach  a neighbor's house,  he was able to clear that tree also.
All in all we had five trees removed and all the ivy that was climbing my house that I'm allergic to. He was able to clear it to get us ready for our roof that's getting replaced.
With all this work that was performed, the price was extremely reasonable and David's is such a nice gentleman.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with David’s Tree Services twice now.  David and his team took down a few very large oak trees and a few tree of heaven in 2024.  The work was top notch and price was more than fair.  We asked for his help again recently to take out an ugly overgrown row of cedars that shaded the driveway in winter and was full of weeds.  David came out within a day, made quick work of the removal and left the area so clean, its like the cedars were never there!  The work was finished in less than a day! David and his crew just cut down a “monster” tree at our property in Thaxton. The tree was enormous-probably 200 years old.   David really knew what he was doing and he tackled the project professionally, quickly and safely.  Afterwards He spent a lot of leveling the ground and cleaning up the roots.   David was fair-priced for the job. I would definitely use him again. I highly recommend him.
